This inviting Penticton Art Gallery owned by Jenny Long, artist and art instructor, is also the home of 8 Resident Artist Studios as well as a Makers Shop featuring handcrafted Canadian goods.  Located in downtown Penticton, amidst the infamous Farmer’s Market that takes over Main Street on Saturdays in Penticton’s warmer months, the Long Gallery is also a hub of workshops and classes for all levels of learning and creating. The Exhibition schedule in the gallery presents nine rotating shows a year, including the owners’ work and that of the studio, local + select artists. We focus on solo and group shows with a more contemporary edge, showcasing both Okanagan artists as well as featured artists from across B.C.  It provides art lovers, art collectors, and designers with the ability to access a wide variety of styles and price ranges of original artwork, as well as handmade jewelry, custom art apparel, cards & artist prints.

When visiting the Long Gallery, you are invited to visit all resident artists’ studios and see their works in progress and chat about their process.

Our studios change over throughout the year. If you are interested in studio space with us please contact me at

The Core Concept at the Long Gallery + Studios is to have a welcoming and professional work space for art makers that feel supported and inspired by a creative community of other artists.  With the Gallery setting at your fingertips, you can hold your own exhibition, or be a part of one of our many group shows.

Since our space creates a more “laid back” and funky feel, the potential to connect to art appreciators and new fans of your work is very promising and can result in establishing lasting impact and relationships with fellow artists and collectors alike.

Since we have an exciting Exhibition Schedule where we change shows every 5-6 weeks, we generate a fresh feeling in the gallery that continues to draw visitors  who appreciate the wide-range of artistic styles we showcase.  Artists also receive promotion through media releases, posters placed around town, as well as frequent posts on our Instagram and Facebook Page.
