Vision

In the fall of 2009, a dream and a vision were birthed the day we purchased our beautiful heritage building in downtown Squamish. The work of restoration was a 3-year process of raising funds, countless hours of volunteer labour, along with the help of skilled trades, until we were ready to reveal The Ledge Community Coffee House.

Our vision is simple, an outreach centre, combining our love for the Squamish community, and our passion for great coffee, music, and the arts. It is our hope that you feel at home when you are here!

Music & Art

Our dedication to the arts includes inviting young, emerging musicians, as well as artists and photographers, to present their talents to the community. We are aiming for Friday and Saturday nights to be dedicated to live music events and gallery features of BC artists.

What’s on now?

Currently we have a variety of community programs available including Squamish YoungLife Squamish and a Christian based Recovery program. We are updating our events calendar so check back soon.

Ownership

The Ledge Cafe is owned and operated by The Rock Church in Squamish, BC and all profits go towards our community outreach projects in Squamish. Part of the church’s vision is to provide opportunities for young people and families to enjoy music, art, community, and of course great coffee in a warm, safe and welcoming space.

The Rock Church began on September 27, 2009 and gathers weekly at Eagle Eye Community Theatre in Howe Sound Secondary! Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM for Coffee and Community, then for Worship at 10:00 AM. During the gathering we also have Kids Rock for children in grades 1-5 as well as Pebbles nursery.

The Rock is a family and community oriented church for people interested in learning about what the Bible teaches and what Christianity is all about.
